Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Design Engineering, the Sr. Design Engineer / Project Lead is responsible for development, implementation and continuous improvement of FibeRio’s proprietary high output Forcespinning™ drive systems. This position has responsibility for managing the various development projects, consultants and suppliers whose job is to design, build and document the Forcespinning drive systems. It will be the task of the Sr. Design Engineer / Project Lead, together with their team, to transform the requirements as defined by marketing into functional systems within a predetermined timeframe and budget. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible, results driven, an excellent project and people manager as well as a capable engineer. They should passionate about quality and safety, conduct business with uncompromising integrity, set and attain ambitious goals, communicate completely with other functional groups, provide leadership, and execute to win.

Responsibilities
•Responsible for product design cycle from the receipt of the market requirements through fabrication of new machine products through the beta phase of product development.
•Management of a diverse group of design engineers, consultants and suppliers
•Responsible for managing the entire product realization process including:
oProduct design development to market defined and engineering agreed upon specifications
oDevelopment of, and performance to, required timelines, schedules and budgets
oDevelopment of suppliers for required components and subsystems.
•Create product offerings with skill and imagination that provide data based solutions enabled by novel and previously unrealizable technological advances.
•Hands on participation in the development of products in the most efficient and effective manner consistent with the demands of the business.
•Manage consultants, outsourcing services and suppliers consistent with best business practices.
•Work within the design development, release and change control processes that are in place, and ensure these are adhered to at all times.

Qualifications
•A Masters degree in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering with knowledge of high speed, high capacity motor design, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
•Knowledge of CAD software including AutoCad and SolidWorks
•7-15 years experience in project management for the design and fabrication of commercial market capital equipment
•Willingness to participate in the hands-on engineering work required to bring products to market.
•Product management experience and team building success essential.
•Experience in early stage company development a plus.

Materials/Polymer Engineer
Job Description
FibeRio Technology Corporation is an early stage company formed to develop and supply
proprietary equipment for the fabrication of nanofibers. The equipment offerings are rapidly
gaining wide acceptance because the proprietary Forcespinning™ method of creating nanofibers
allows unprecedented versatility and flexibility. The automated production models are coveted for
their system level production cost reductions, inherent safety advantages and the ability to control
the manufacturing process.
The Company initially sold equipment, consumable parts and service to research universities and
companies to gain broad acceptance of the technology and to enable the development of unique
nanofibers utilizing the Company’s proprietary method. We are selling industrial scale production
equipment to a wide variety of industries incorporating nanofibers into their end-products.
The Position
Reporting to the Applications Engineering Manager, the Materials Engineer is
responsible for modifying fiber polymer compounds, developing processing parameters
and participating in processing equipment design recommendations. This position has
responsibility for: reformulating customer nanofiber materials to use in establishing the
Forcespinning™ processing parameters, conducting testing, interpreting experimental
results, developing customer samples and recording results and analyses in a historical
data base. The ideal candidate will be results focused, creative, flexible, organized,
an excellent engineer, passionate about quality and safety, conduct business with

with customers and other functional groups, and execute to win.

Responsibilities
• Reformulate customer nanofiber materials for use with the Forcespinning™

• Perform product demonstrations for customers and run product samples as
requested by customers.

by novel and previously unrealizable technological advances.
• Hands on participation in the reformulation development of Customer polymer

• Gather and analyze data on product performance. Establish database of sample

processes and analytical test procedures to meet and demonstrate this
performance.
• Participate in process equipment specifications and design reviews.

Qualifications

work required to bring fiber products to the Customer.

machine product development. This position has responsibility for managing a group of design
engineers of various disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software and controls) whose job is to
design, build and document commercial equipment offerings based on the technology licenses
from the University of Texas Pan American. There will be various iterations of a fully automated
manufacturing product line, the performance and feature requirements of each will be defined by
the marketing organization. It will be the task of the Design Engineering Manager, together with
their team, to transform these requirements into functional tools within a predetermined timeframe

The Position
Reporting to the Manager of Design Engineering, the Software Engineer is responsible for
software development for a complex, automated electro-mechanical machine. This position
has responsibility for designing and documenting the control software and user interface for
our commercial equipment offerings. The position will require the ability to both perform in
house design and manage outside design activity. The ideal candidate will be creative,
flexible, results driven, an excellent engineer, passionate about quality and safety, conduct
business with uncompromising integrity, set and attain ambitious goals, communicate
completely with other functional groups, provide leadership, and execute to win.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop and modify the machine control, user interface and factory automation interface software on PLC and Microprocessor based control systems for new equipment products suitable for the commercial market, meeting agreed upon market requirements and design specifications, on an agreed timeline.
• Create software product offerings with skill and imagination that provide data based solutions enabled by novel and previously unrealizable technological advances.

The Position
Primary responsibility is to purchase MRO items and perform shipping and receiving functions.

- Review purchase requests and process purchase orders
